Hannah: #just started a fight with Cor #Aravis will be pleased
Lezlie: Tagging “R” in the Cor-Corin (pfft sounds like I’m stuttering) fight.
Aravis and R are very pleased. Very pleased, indeed XD gah, Aravis wants to jump in and plummet the both of them watch with a doctor besides her. I really, really like you guys. And you’re not making this hiatus any easier. I miss you two. I miss my lychee-noodles-banana smoothie-addicted bro for life. I miss everyone. Even though I lurk almost every day but you understand what I mean.
Actually, I can’t. I’ll try. I’ll put this under “read more” because it’s a lengthy ooc post.
“I have met other residents of the Lone Islands. Have you heard of Alexis and Rue? They are the duchesses of the Long Islands.”
While Gael explained her situation, Aravis watched her closely for anything remotely suspicious. Aversion of eye contact, a squirm, a flatter in the voice. There was nothing. The girl was telling the truth. However, eyebrows still snapped together. “What kind of old lady will lead you all the way here when your parents are still on the island? And where were your parents when the old lady talked to you anyway?” Aravis spat. “Irresponsible.”
The Lone Islands. Lips pressed together, Aravis crossed her arms as she held back a perplexed look. “Do many Lone Islanders frequently visit such a faraway land like Narnia?”
She then frowned as she looked around. Hands balled into fists. “Where are your parents?”
“Just ‘Aravis’ will do, Gael,” the Calormene replied offhandedly. “And where do you hail from?”
“My name is Aravis Tarkheena and I am the only daughter of Kidrash Tarkaan, the son of Rishti Tarkaan, the son of Kidrash Tarkaan, the son of Ilsombreh Tisroc, the son of Ardeeb Tisroc who was descended in a right line from the god Tash.”
Aravis stopped. From the way she carried herself, the other girl was obviously not a Calormene. Shaking her head, she said, “I am Aravis. What is your name?”
A shadow of a smile flitted across Aravis’s lips—the younger girl looked just about her brother’s age. The Calormene resisted the sudden and surprising urge to hug her as she opted to bow instead.
“Hello.”
If King Lune refuses to inform you about the affairs of Archenland, you can always try asking someone such as Darrin. You just have to stand tall, speak with authority, and bringing a sword is always a good idea.
So you do agree you are being sheltered too much. By Tash, you were a commoner’s son before all this. Are you not used to danger? I really should drag you out of here. -roll eyes- You can bring your books, if you want.
I will teach how to use one then. Of course, after you learn how to ride a horse. Now if you refuse to ride a horse again, then my punches will only get harder. -smiles- Is that enough incentive for you?
